News

News feature in Eventify is to provide attendees with up-to-date information about the event, including updates on schedules, featured content, interviews with speakers and event highlights. This feature can enhance the attendee experience by providing valuable information, fostering engagement, and keeping attendees informed throughout the event.

You can rename News feature to any name of your choice and it will display the given name in the app and web for the event.

To Add new News, click on the Add News button. The Add News pop-up window will appear.

  • Enter the News Title.

  • Add the News Image. The size of the image should be 350 wide x 200 tall.

  • Enter the News Content.

  • Click on Save to save the News.

You can also mark a news as important by clicking on the star. Starred items will be listed on top of other items.

Additionally, you can search for the added news, edit or delete it.

Q: How do we create posts on the feed?

An organizer can create a news post from the News section of the content page on the Admin Panel.

Q: How can we use the news feed feature for our event?

The news feed feature can be used to share images, videos, links, information, messages, etc. related to the event. Attendees can view the feeds from their app.

Q: Is it possible to get news feeds through some external web-link ?

The "News Content" section in the admin panel is an HTML editor. Through which an organizer can link images, videos, web-page, live sessions, etc.

Q: Is there an option to feature important News?

Yes, all featured news will be shown at the top of the news list.
