How to gather session related feedback?
A session's feedback can be best gathered by session based polls. They can give us valuable feedback and insights into what attendees think, like, and want. When we collect data through polls, we get a better understanding of their needs and expectations, which can help you to customize the content and presentation,to make it even better!
Let us check how to create and manage a session poll:
Create Poll#
Go to Polls & Live Q&A > Polls. Click on the Add Poll button. The Create Poll pop-up window will appear.
A session will be selected by default, but, if you want to choose a different session, select the one you require, from the sessions dropdown list.
Fill in the Poll Question in the What would you like to ask field.
Enter the first two mandatory options for the poll. You can also add a third and fourth option if required, but those are optional.
Check the Allow attendees to select multiple options checkbox if you want the answers to be multiple.
Check Show result after submission if you want the attendees to be able to see the results immediately after participating in a poll.
- Click on Save to add the poll.
Note: Polls once created can't be edited. It can be archived.
Poll Analytics and Results#
Once the polls are set up and attendees start to answer, you can check the analytics and results too.
- Analytics: Click on the Analytics button you will find with each poll quetsion. It will show you the detailed information on who voted on which option along with the count of votes each option gathered.
- Results: To check the results, click on the Results button. There, you will find the Total votes count and the percentage of votes per option.
Here are some additional points to keep in mind:
You can switch between Active Polls or Archived Polls tabs, to see all the polls that are currently active or archived.
Click on Excel to download the session based poll result.
Click on Download PDF. to get a pdf document, summarizing all the poll responses.
Live Display#
To create an engaging session experience with a bigger screen, make use of the Live Poll URL. You can access the URL from any browser to get the polls for the selected session.
As a moderator or speaker, you can choose any active poll from the list, and it will be displayed on the screen for everyone to see. The live results will be visible to all users, adding an extra layer of excitement to the session.
